Frank and Jessica Ladner bought Old Bob’s Hardware in August of 2004. Their original plan was to make a cool biker hang out and live a life amongst friends and family. They finally opened it in July 2007. This was a dream that took a lot of perserverence and determination to do. They are a cool young couple that have traveled the world and have come home to settle down and enjoy life. Both are scuba instructors that met each other way out in the Pacific back in 1994 and have been best friends ever since. You see Frank is a Boat Captain and Jessica is a Chef. They used to work on private yachts and sail up to Alaska in the summer and Mexico in the winter.
So they know service and how to make people feel welcome. Jessica is a great host and she is on top of her kitchen. She went to Culinary School and then after working and cooking on boats for over 10 years she has her earned her reputation for some good cooking. She wanted to create the best Cheeseburger ever, so she uses only the best ingredients, her menu is diverse and she really loves it when her locals come in and enjoy her daily specials.
Jess is a fun to be around girl and her spirit and soul are what beats the place. Frank is the coolest guy. He is just a big kid. He will surley make you laugh when your there. Frank grew up 4 miles down the road and came back to save the family ranch. He has a race car that he races at the 105 dirt track 7 miles away on Saturday nights. His collection of motorcycle posters throughout the Backwoods are so perfect for the place. Frank is the prankster around the place so be on guard when your there and you might get to see some funny happenings.
